Over the past few days, UAE has been engulfed with a heavy rainstorm that has blocked all the roads leading to Sharjah. This has in turn halted several activities in the UAE as everyone takes their work and studies remotely once again. While the weather may be pleasant, it is not pleasant enough to be out or continue with the usual day to day activities. 

The authorities further stated on X how bus services have particularly been affected by this weather. 

"Due to unstable weather conditions and to ensure the sustainability of Dubai Metro operations and services, we would like to inform you that maintenance work will be conducted at stations on the Red and Green lines on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. This will affect both metro timings and stations. Therefore, we kindly ask you to follow our channels for updates before planning your trips. Please note that free shuttle bus services will be provided to metro users at specific stations on the Green and Red lines to ensure your arrival at your destinations. Thank you for your understanding," the RTA posted.

RTA also encourages the people to keep checking their page to stay updated with real time news in order to get more information regarding the station timings.
